The following is the official list of persons drafted into the service of the United States from this county which has been furnished to us by the County Provost Marshal, Daniel Duncan, Esq. There were 14 drawn from the Market House District, and none from the Court House District, its quota having been raised by volunteers:

Heavy Reinforcements of troops for the Army of the Potomac have been en route over the B & O Railroad for seven days now. They consist principally of infantry from the State of Ohio.
