The Canal Trade of Williamsport.—
The following will show the number of boats that will hail from our town this season :—
In the flour and produce trade, 11 ; in the coal trade, 15 ; boats out of town, but in the district 6 — total number of boats, 32. They will average four men to each boat, which will show that one hundred and twenty eight of our population will be engaged in boating. What town on the line of canal, except Cumberland, can boast of more energy and industry than Williamsport?
