The undersigned, as executor of the last will & testament of Eli Swearingen, late of Allegany county, deceased, will sell at public sale, at the late resident of said deceased, about 8 miles north west of the town of Cumberland, immediately on the Potomac river,
On Monday the 15th of September, inst, all the personal property, of which the said deceased died seized, consisting in part of as follows;—
10 HEAD OF HORSES
amongst them several fine colts and riding cratur[?].
40 HEAD OF CATTLE,
For hire, on the public square in Cumberland, on Monday, the 1st day of December next,
2 NEGRO MEN
who are first rate Servants
Said Servants will not be hired to any person who may want to work them on the Public Works.
